Every design comes with standard text. The AI website rewrite replaces it with text written for your business. On your website screen it is the card Make your website text your own.
Before you start
- Build your website first. The card only shows after that. See Set up your website.
- Only the brand owner can buy it, from the Owner Account. In the brand admin, the card asks you to get the brand owner to buy it.
- The card shows the price and how many tries are included. See Plans and prices.
- A brand on the Demo plan can't buy it. You can buy more tries only after you have used all of yours.
Steps
- Open Owner Account, choose your brand and click Website.
- On the card Make your website text your own, click Buy for (followed by the price) and finish the payment. Back on the page you see Payment received. You're ready to go.
- Optional: under Words you want people to find you by (optional), type a word or phrase such as cheap web hosting and click Add.
- Click Rewrite my website. You see Writing your new text… You can leave the page while it works.
- When you see Your new text is ready, read the changes or click Preview. Nothing on your website has changed yet.
- Click Use this text to put it on your website, or Discard to throw it away.
What it changes
It rewrites the words of your website, including button text, and the title and description search engines show for your Home, About and Contact pages. It never changes your prices, plans, numbers, links, icons, pictures, contact details or legal pages. Lines that did not pass its checks stay as they were, and the card says how many.
Go back to your old text
After you use the new text, the card says Your new text is on your website. Click Undo and confirm. Changes you made to those parts after accepting are undone too. Only your latest rewrite can be undone.
Discard still counts as one of your tries. A rewrite that fails is not counted.
Common problems
It says "This isn't available right now."
The rewrite is switched off for the moment. Check back later.
I paid, but the card still isn't ready
If it says it is taking a little longer to switch on, refresh the page in a minute.
It says "You've used all your rewrites for this website."
In your Owner Account, click Buy again for (followed by the price) to get more tries.
It says "Taking longer than usual"
The rewrite is still working. Click Check again after a while.
