Theme is your website design editor. The settings are on the left and a live preview of your website is on the right.
Steps
- Sign in to your brand admin. See Open your brand admin.
- In the menu, open Storefront → Theme.
- To try another design, click Switch design, then Use this design on the one you want. The design your website shows now has a Live badge.
- Under Colours, change the colours this design has, such as Main colour, Second colour, Highlight colour, Background, Text or Muted text. Click Reset next to a colour to go back to the design's own colour.
- Under Fonts, pick a font pair: one font for headings, one for text.
- Under Parts of the page, switch each part on or off, or pick another layout for it.
- Use Home, Pricing, Features, About and Contact above the preview to see each page. Use the desktop and mobile buttons to see both sizes.
- When you like it, click Put on my website (or Apply changes or Update website if this design is already live) and confirm.
What happens next
Your edits save by themselves while you work: you see Saving… and then Saved. Visitors only see them after you click Put on my website or Apply changes. You then see Done. Your website now shows these changes.
Switching designs keeps your edits. Your name, colour and logo carry over, and your earlier edits come back if you switch back.
Until you go live, visitors see the Under construction page, whatever design you pick. See Go live.
Common problems
A colour changed by itself after I picked it
If two colours are hard to read together, the editor changes one and shows a message saying what it changed. Pick another colour if you want a different look.
I can't move a part higher or lower on the page
The order of the parts is set by the design. You can show or hide each part and change its layout, or switch to another design.
It says Save failed
Check your internet connection, then make the change again.
