The Domains list shows every domain your customers have with you, with its customer, status, expiry date and auto-renew.
Steps
- Sign in to your brand admin.
- In the menu, open Catalog → Domains.
- Search by domain or customer, or use the filters Active, Expired, Pending Transfer and Redemption, and the expiry list (Expiring 30d, 60d, 90d).
- Press Manage on the domain.
- To fetch the latest details from where the domain is registered, press Sync from Registrar.
- Under Manage Domain, tick or untick Auto-renew, WHOIS privacy or Registrar lock, then press Save changes.
- To give the domain to another of your customers, press Transfer owner, search for the customer and press Transfer.
What happens next
When the lock or privacy can be changed from here, it is changed where the domain is registered. If the screen says Saved on our record only, only your records changed, and the real setting still has to be changed by hand. Write to us if that happens.
Transfer owner also moves the domain's unpaid invoices. Paid invoices stay with the first customer. Every change is listed under Domain History. The Nameservers card shows the domain's nameservers; it does not change them. You cannot change nameservers or get a transfer code here: if your customer's page says to ask support for these, write to us.
Status and Expiry date under Manage Domain only change your own records. They do not renew the domain. Your customer renews it from their client area.
Common problems
A red bar says the domain expires soon
It shows when a domain expires within 30 days. Ask your customer to renew it from the domain's page in their client area. Do not press Renew Now on that bar: it starts a new order, not a renewal.
The domain says Transfer failed
I see Push to Registrar or Retry Provision
Write to us instead of pressing it.
