Domain Pricing is what your customers pay for each domain ending, such as .com. You can set an exact price, or a markup over your cost so the price follows the cost. This works on plans that include domain sales.
Steps
- Sign in to your brand admin.
- In the menu, open Catalog → Domain Pricing.
- Press Add TLD. To change a price you already have, press the pencil on its row.
- In TLD, type the ending without a dot, like com or com.pk.
- In How is this priced? choose Exact price I set or Markup % over my cost.
- For an exact price, fill in Register price. For a markup, fill in Markup % (20 means your cost plus 20%) and a Fallback register price, which is used only if no cost is recorded for that ending.
- Fill in Transfer price and Renew price.
- If you like, add a Promo badge (like HOT or NEW) and a Sort order. Keep Active ticked to offer this ending.
- Press Save.
Prices are typed in the smallest unit of money, like cents. The line under each box shows the real amount. Check it before you save.
What happens next
While you type, the box Your cost and margin shows the base cost, your discount, your cost, what the customer pays and your margin per sale. If your price is under your cost, you see You are selling below cost. This is only a warning, and Save still works. Your saved prices appear in the table with Customer pays, Your cost, Margin, Transfer and Renew.
Common problems
It says TLD pricing already exists for this brand
That ending is already in your list. Press the pencil on its row to change it instead.
It says No cost is recorded for this ending
We cannot show your margin, but your price is still what you set. Write to us to record a cost for it.
There is no Add TLD button
Your plan does not include domain sales. Press Change plan. See How selling domains works.
