Where to find them
- Staff access: open your Owner Account, choose the brand, then click Staff access.
- Staff & roles: in your brand admin, open System → Staff & roles.
Both have a People tab and a Roles tab, and both show who can sign in to the brand admin and what each person can do.
The same on both
- Invite staff, Resend and Revoke invites.
- Change a person's role, or Remove access.
- Reset two-step sign-in for someone who lost their phone.
- Create, change, clone and delete roles.
- The brand's only Admin cannot be changed, suspended or removed.
Only in Staff access
- Suspend and Restore access.
- Reset password for a staff member.
- Set a new password for your own brand admin sign-in, on the row marked You.
- Give any role, and change any role except Admin, even ones your own brand admin role could not.
- Removing someone asks for Your Owner Account password.
- Require two-step sign-in for all staff. See Turn on two-step sign-in and require it for your staff.
In the brand admin
A staff member sees Staff & roles only if their role has See staff, invites and roles. To change people they need Invite, change roles, remove staff, and to change roles Create, edit and delete roles. They can't change their own role and can only hand out permissions they hold.
Your Owner Account and your brand admin sign-in are separate. Changing one password never changes the other. Careful on your own row: Suspend and Remove access work on it too. Because an Admin on your team can change or remove your brand admin sign-in, Staff access is where you take back control.
Common problems
I forgot my brand admin password
Open Owner Account → your brand → Staff access, and click Set a new password on your own row. See Change your brand admin password.
