Steps

  1. Sign in to your brand admin. See Open your brand admin.
  2. In the menu, open Billing → Invoices.
  3. Click Create Invoice.
  4. Under Customer, search by email or name and pick the customer.
  5. Under Line items, type a description, the quantity and the unit price. Click Add line for more lines.
  6. Pick the Currency. Customer default uses your customer's own currency.
  7. Optional: pick a Due date. If you leave it empty, it is due in 14 days.
  8. Optional: type your Tax %. It is not filled in for you.
  9. Optional: write Notes (optional). They are shown on the invoice.
  10. Click Create invoice.

What happens next

  • You see "The customer can pay it online." Click View invoice to open it.
  • Your customer finds it under Invoices in their client area. Making it does not send an email. If it is still unpaid, a reminder email goes out about 3 days before the due date, and an overdue email the day after it.
  • The invoice page has a PDF button.

Fix an invoice

  • Unpaid: click Edit to change it, or Void to cancel it. Void asks for a reason and can Reissue a clean unpaid copy for correction.
  • Paid: click Credit note to credit part or all of it to your customer's wallet (Credit to customer wallet), or to keep a record only.
