What your customer does
- In their client area they open Wallet, choose an amount and click Continue to payment. This makes a top-up invoice they pay like any other. This works once you go live (see Go live).
- When it is paid, the money is added to their wallet. Top-ups are not taxed.
- Bigger top-ups get extra bonus credit. This is on for your brand from the start, and you pay for it: bonus credit pays your invoices like money. Your customers see the levels on their Wallet page. To change the levels or switch the bonus off, see Set your customers' wallet bonus.
- On any invoice except a top-up, they can choose Pay from Wallet.
What you see
- Sign in to your brand admin. See Open your brand admin.
- In the menu, open Billing → Wallets.
- Search by name or email. Each row shows the Balance, Currency, Coverage (how many months of their services the balance covers) and Last Transaction.
Give credit back
Open a paid invoice in Billing → Invoices, click Credit note, type the amount, choose Credit to customer wallet under Settle by, write a reason and save. For refunds, see your Refund Policy.
Common problems
A customer's wallet is in another currency
The order page tells your customer: "Your wallet is in ..., this order is in ...". They can top up in the order's currency or pay another way.
